Is fizzy water bad for your teeth?
In a nutshell the answer is no, sparkling water is not bad for your teeth. If you are a fan of the fizzy stuff like San Pellegrino, or our personal favorite, San Faustino, you can rest easy all is well. But there are a few "gotchas" to take in mind.
The recent research study comparing the effects on extracted human teeth placed in tap water verses sparkling water showed no difference in erosion or break down of the tooth enamel.
