CEREC Same-Day Crowns and Bridges Eagle ID
We know your time is valuable.
That is why we choose to invest in technology that makes your treatment as efficient as possible. Using CEREC one-day crowns, we can create a beautiful crown or bridge in just one visit so you can get on with your life.
What Makes CEREC Different from Other Crowns?
Having a restoration like a crown or bridge placed in the past meant multiple visits to the dentist, multiple injections, messy impressions, and temporary crowns. The first appointment would involve the dentist preparing your tooth for the new crown. Then an impression would be taken using a goopy paste and big metal tray. Finally, a temporary crown would be cemented in place until the new one was ready a few weeks later.
After your new restoration was made at an outside dental lab, you would go back to the dentist to have it placed in your mouth. This is a long process, and temporary crowns are often uncomfortable and difficult to wear.
However, with a state-of-the-art CEREC crown or bridge at Atlantis Dental Care, we can complete the entire process in just one day – no second appointment necessary! Our beautiful porcelain CEREC crowns and bridges and are made from the same materials as any lab crown. They last a long time and look natural.
How Do CEREC Crowns Work?
Dr. Cantwell will design and “build” your new CEREC crowns at our office using cutting-edge technology and materials. First, we prepare your natural tooth to make sure your new crown fits perfectly.
Then we’ll take a picture of the tooth with a specialized 3D camera. We put the image into a computer program that lets us view the model of your tooth that will be used to make your new restoration.
CEREC crowns are made at our office using a block of porcelain. A special milling machine follows the model designed on the computer and creates your permanent crown. Your new restoration is then cleaned and polished and bonded securely to your tooth.
Our beautiful CEREC crowns look so natural that no one will ever be able to tell that it’s not your natural tooth. Same-day crowns are also easy to care for. Since they’re made of porcelain, CEREC crowns are very durable and resistant to staining.
